Trey's educational philosophy is simple: love for people, love for music. Trey feels that this encapsulates the most meaningful components of music making, particularly with young students who are learning skills that allow them to contribute positively to the world around them.
Trey enjoys cultivating familial environments among students within the many ensembles he has the privilege of working with. Trey's instructional background includes marching, concert and chamber ensembles. Trey particularly enjoys working with student leadership groups and firmly believes in the benefits of peer leadership within the music classroom.
Trey feels strongly about the importance of private instruction. Trey has personally witnessed the exponential growth of his students as a result of private instruction, with many having the opportunity to participate in District and State-level ensembles each year.
All group clinics and private lessons are scheduled on a case-by-case basis. Reach out for more information below!
